You can try and guess who's who if you want. Dunno if you'll get some of them. But good luck :D Yay, anonymous :p
One person gave me that memory, every time they'd come over we'd lie in the dark, and almost always end up crying and telling eachother we were jealous of eachothers' lives, and telling eachother our problems - the favourite part came afterwards though, when we'd sneak upstairs and grab food, then run back down and eat it all, and start giggling about other people, and deciding who would best match others, and bitching about our siblings.
Another person, I remember lying on her bedroom floor in a Disney sleeping bag with a half-eaten chocolate cake under her bed, because if her dad saw us eating at midnight he'd probably flip out.. But we were too high on chocolate cake to go to sleep, so we spent 4 hours taking photo's of ourselves and being dorks instead.
With someone else, they'd said "Where should we go? We can go anywhere." and we just drove and drove, and turned the radio up on an open road, and sung along to John Mayer and Jason Mraz.
I practically did Round The Bays 2010 with someone once, because the buses were down so we caught one to Kohimaramara, and thought it was the shitty beach before Mission... So we walked all the way to St Heliers, then decided it was more shit so walked all the way back and down Kohimaramara, until we got to Mission Bay. We laughed at the mascots.
I went to Napier and had a balloon fight, and got quite substantially drunk.
There were a couple of people who'd always come over when they knew I'd be down, and take me other places with a camera, take millions of photos with me and make sure I'd be laughing the entire weekend. I don't think they realise just how thankful I am for that.
I remember being with my family one Christmas, and I woke up and ran upstairs to the lounge being full of multi-coloured balloons, and Santa's letter next to our Christmas stockings. That was the same day there were there candy canes on the tree and my nana was with my mum, wearing santa hats and filling brandy snaps, and everyone was laughing.
I remember running back and forwards at junior badminton and laughing with friends, getting mocked but having fun, and sitting on the couches doing absolutely nothing.
I remember running around and hanging off someone's arm, feeling perfect and falling over laughing in happiness, feeling dizzy in love and over the moon, like there was no bad in the world, and from that moment on I was never going to be alone or sad again.
That last one was yesterday, and I'm still smiling.
Thanks for the memories guys :)
Lots of Love, Serena x
